The big reveal...

The excitement is unbearable as the climax of every kids year is at it's pinnacle moment... ahh, to be 4 again.

Ben and 'Da Bears'- a gift from his dad

Trying out for the team!

Short clip of Reese trying out for the team!

Reese- Getting into the Christmas spirit

'Twas the Night Before Christmas...

'Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a ..........MOUSE!

We have a pet name for this mouse-- REESE!

(We have also caught this same mouse eating chocolate kisses out of the Advent calender dating from Dec. 11th through Dec 21st!!! The mouse was also spotted tearing at gift packages with her toes!)

SNOW IN SOUTH GEORGIA!!!

Here is Harrison aiming for the camera man- (Me!)
Here is Reese taking a shot at her big brother!

Harrison running toward the camera man with ammo in hand- (look closely at his right hand- a very small snowball!)

Just a wider frame shot of the actual snow mound- hunter orange fencing, complete with a city park garbage can! I am embarrassed to show this pitiful attempt at a winter wonderland, but at the same time, find it funny seeing 50+ kids not knowing any different! (My kids included!)

Three's Company!

All by one's self...
Two's company...

Three's a crowd!!!

-or is it back to 'two's company'...???

It is most definately, 'three's company'!

The Polar Express

The theme for Harrison's party this year was "The Polar Express"- he wore his pj's and slippers to school and thought that was pretty cool!

One of many crafts Harrison brought home from preschool during this holiday season. I particularly liked this one- a Christmas tree formed from a sugar (ice cream) cone turned upside down in a bed of 'snow' (sugar!!!)

Santa Clause is Coming to Town!!!

Santa's lil' helper

Charlie has now developed his signature look- bored!
Here we are visiting Santa's reindeer- the deer is a bit camera shy...
Can you spy Comet in this pic??? (Please don't be destracted by the adorable curls!)
We also visited the Most Famous Reindeer of All!
(Charlie, with his signature look...)

Take note of Charlie in this shot!!! They say by the 3rd child, he/she by nature is more relaxed than his/her siblings... I find this to be very true in our case!

My boys!
Decking the halls!
Santa's other lil' helper!

This lil' Santa helper has been put on the naughty list...

FOR TOUCHING MY ORNAMENTS!!
Here she is 'kissing' the ornament!

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving was of particular importance- it was the first time I prepared the entire meal. Well, in essence, I hosted the meal but honestley, Becky (my husband's-brother's- wife,) prepared and cooked the turkey, along with the gravey and sweet potatoes. So I had much needed help in the kitchen, everything was served on time and hot!
The family sitting around the table just before the big feast... the little kids are at the 'kiddie' table- just outside this frame
The 'boys' just after the big meal- all 4(!!) of them relaxing and playing Wii (Harrison loved it!)
Zooming in on the above pic- take note of the empty pie plate resting on PJ.

Notice the empty pie plate resting on Ben- are these two boys related???

I most certainly thought Becky was going to take this one home...

Reese needs to pick on someone her own size!!!
We started of the holiday season with my favorite... sugar cookie decorating party!!! This is a shot of William taking part in the festivities!
As it turns out, Alexis is quite the artist! In the end, she won the 'Best Cookie' award with her dad, PJ in at a close second. I suppose I came in at 3rd or 4th or fifth...
Here is a 'close up' of PJ creating his masterpiece that locked him in as first runner up.

Here, again, is William taking part in the eating of the cookies- where are the ones he decorated???
The hostest with the mostest!!!
Harrison, taking notes from the pro.
Reese also decorated cookies- really she just ate the decorations...

Here she is eating M&M's...
Here she is eating strawberry twizzlers...
Here is a shot of the snowman that put me in at a close 4th place. I don't know who made the star, but it too, is adorable!
Here is the artwork created by Alexis that landed her in first place. Does anyone recognize this redhead???
This is the cookie that secured PJ in at second- he cleaverly placed two 'moons' at the back to transform the 'gingerbread lady' into an angel
Here is PJ eating that same angel...
I will not reveal this persons face for the sake of privacy- but his wife can't stand his black socks paired with short umbros and a faded pink(??) t-shirt.
Just a quick and final note- Ben took a solid 3rd in the cookie decorating party. He transformed an ordinary gingerbread man into Spiderman! That pic somehow didn't make it on this post but will add it at a later date. Stay tuned!
